Job Summary
To be successful in this role, a candidate will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful. Good attendance and punctuality are required.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
? Greet parents, students, and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and a smile.
? Have excellent attendance and punctuality
? Assist Parents, students, and visitors in finding their way around the school.
? Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting visitor information as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
? Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, taking notes, and calendaring.
? Preparing meeting and training rooms for all meetings. (Board meeting, CEO meeting, etc.)
? Professionally answering phones and routing calls as necessary, providing excellent customer service.
? Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks: producing letters, memos, and other notices, ensuring that documents are posted to parent square
? Assist the office manager or substitute for the office manager at the request of the admin team (Principal, VP)
? Receive, sort, and distribute mail as assigned.
? Student Information, data, & reporting: Student attendance updated daily
? Scheduling appointments for Admins
? Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.
? All other duties as assigned by the Administrative.
? Work schedule can be flexible at times to accommodate Events at the school site (e.g., Back-to-school night, etc.) Requirements / Qualifications Receptionist Requirements:
? Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
? Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
? Good time management skills.

? Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
? Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required at a school office.
BILINGUAL REQUIRED: SPANISH
SCHEDULE: M-F 8AM-2:30PM OR 9:30AM-4:00PM
PAY: $18.50/HR
